Why have we created Rizonn

I’m a Brazilian native, born and raised in the bustling city of São Paulo. My decisions throughout my journey, my continuous desire to develop myself, and my adventurous spirit brought me to Paris, where I’m based and pretty much appreciate its stunning architecture, rich history, and vibrant culture.

As the proud founder and head of Rizonn, I’m all about helping others unlock their full potential. I combine executive coaching with neuroscience, offer personalized assessments for individuals and teams, and consult on career development. Plus, I provide HR magic for companies looking to recruit, acquire, and manage top-tier talent.

I’m a lover of all things artistic, cultural, and sporty, with a constant urge to explore the world. This art appreciation has always been present in my life, which led me to attend a variety of art courses, going from painting to crafting.

My curiosity for learning about different cultures and their impact on communication has led me to study abroad twice. These experiences have brought me immense personal and professional growth. As an explorer and citizen of the world, I greatly appreciate traveling and seeing the world with my own eyes, learning and observing different ways of living, thinking, and interacting with the world. This expands my perspectives and helps me gain a better understanding of different cultures and people.

My relationship with sports started early and is also connected to my desire to become a coach. I practiced swimming for more than eight years and dared myself in the equestrian world. Eager for more fun, adventures, and learning, I also practiced yoga, and the martial arts of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai which taught me about strategy, discipline and focus. Whether in swimming, equestrian, yoga, or martial arts, the coaches have always been crucial to my development. One day I decided that I wanted to be that guy too. I was and still am fascinated by the idea of accompanying people in their paths, bringing a boost of motivation, and helping people to unleash their potential.

As somebody who likes testing and experimenting, I tried a variety of breathing techniques and exercises. Trying them made all the difference in how I manage stress and anxiety. Breathwork has been an integral part of my life for years because of the transformative impact it has had on my mental, emotional, and physical well-being. As a coach and recruiter, this practice has proven to be invaluable in helping me stay grounded, centered, and focused in the face of various challenges. Whether in a professional or personal context, I find that breathwork helps me tap into a deeper sense of inner peace and clarity, which enables me to make better decisions, build stronger relationships, and live a more fulfilling life.

My family has always been an essential part of my life, providing unwavering support and encouragement throughout my personal and professional journey. Their love, acceptance, and commitment to me have been a real driving force. It’s only fitting that I honor my family in my path, including the new business that I have created. I am grateful for their tireless efforts and unwavering support, which have shaped me into the person I am today.

Background
My academic journey started with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and social communication from FMU in São Paulo. The power of communication captivated me, and I was intrigued by how it influences our daily interactions. Although I enjoyed the world of social communication, my true passion lies in HR. After a stint in an advertising agency’s HR department, I delved into the realm of HR, where I honed my skills and explored business development opportunities.

Taking a leap of faith, I moved to Europe, which opened up new possibilities for me. I pursued a Master’s in International People Management at ESCE Paris, where I dove deep into leadership’s contextualization and its impact on follower performance through my Master’s thesis.
Besides, I landed an exciting role at Dr. Först Consult, where I worked on cutting-edge fiber-optic projects. In my role as a business developer, I was responsible for a range of successful projects, including cutting-edge fiber-optic projects. This experience allowed me to develop a unique perspective on how to approach business challenges and identify opportunities. It also taught me the value of experimentation and taking calculated risks.

I’m a proud certified executive coach through HEC Paris, and I’ve created my unique coaching method, using neuroscience, art therapy, and a touch of creativity to help individuals on their personal development journey.
Furthermore, I’m committed to an ever-learning journey, which I’ve been honoring by attending a variety of training programs and certifications, such as in neuroscience and talent acquisition.

My legitimacy as a coach and recruiter stems from a combination of various factors, starting with the path I’ve paved until this point. The experiences I’ve gained along the way, including my background, cross-cultural experiences, and a range of other experiences, were all instrumental in my development. Plus, my values and vision have also played a significant role in shaping my approach to coaching and recruitment. By combining all of these factors, I’ve cultivated a unique set of skills and perspectives that are priceless in my roles as a coach and recruiter. My legitimacy is therefore derived from a deep understanding of the industry, a commitment to ethical and effective practices, a commitment to a human-centric approach to recruitment, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed.

Cross-cultural experiences
Being in Paris is already a rich cross-cultural experience. I’m constantly learning new things and it makes the experience very delightful. My networking and integration into German culture have also added crucial inputs to my cultural knowledge.

However, crossing borders is not a recent passion for me. Going back some years in the past, my passion for learning about different cultures and their impact on communication has driven me to study abroad at an early age. My first experience was in Argentina, where I participated in an exchange program right after I reached adulthood. This experience was invaluable as it allowed me to gain a deep understanding of the local culture and appreciate the diversity of cultures worldwide. After four years, I felt it was the right time to embark on a new adventure. I chose to participate in another exchange program, this time in Ireland. The experience was truly life-changing as it opened up a world of opportunities for me. Not only did I improve my English language skills, but I also gained a deeper appreciation for Irish culture.
Studying abroad has brought about significant personal and professional growth. I’ve made lifelong connections and expanded my networking, as well as learned how to navigate different cultures with ease. The ability to communicate effectively across cultures has proved to be a valuable skill, particularly in today’s globalized world.

Why I have created Rizonn
Starting a coaching business is a dream that many people share. For me, it’s a calling that was steamed from a deep passion for helping others succeed. I believe that everyone has the potential to achieve greatness, but sometimes we need support to unlock that potential.

Rizonn is a way I found to make a positive impact in the world. We are living in a fast-changing and complex world, where people are facing new challenges every day. The need for support is greater than ever, and I am eager to contribute to this cause.

Creating a coaching and recruiting business has been a natural evolution of my career path. Over the years, I’ve gained valuable experience working in various HR roles, which has allowed me to hone my skills in the field. But it was my experience working on the business development of cutting-edge fiber-optic projects that truly ignited my passion for daring and experimentation.

Starting a new business in a foreign country is both exciting and challenging. As an entrepreneur, I’m driven by a passion to make a difference and create something new. Despite the challenges, creating Rizonn it’s incredibly rewarding to me. I took it as an opportunity to build something from the ground up, challenge myself, and make a difference in a new community. It’s also an opportunity to learn and grow, both personally and professionally.

My coaching philosophy is centered around the idea of personal development. I believe that we’re all on a journey of self-discovery, and that coaching can be a powerful tool for helping people navigate this journey. I work with my clients to identify their goals, strengths, and weaknesses, and then help them develop a plan for achieving their dreams.

One of the things I love most about coaching is the opportunity to accompany my clients on their journey. It’s a privilege to be able to help people as they explore new ideas, try new things, and face their fears. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing someone succeed, and knowing that you played a small part in their journey.

Of course, starting a coaching business is not without its challenges. Building Rizonn took time, effort, and dedication. I know that there are no shortcuts to success, and it can be a long and winding road. But for me, the rewards are well worth the effort. I’m driven by a desire to make a difference in the world, and to help others achieve their full potential.

If you’re considering starting a business of your own, my advice is to follow your passion. Find what makes you tick, and pursue it with all your heart. That’s what I did throughout Rizonn’s creation process and will keep doing. I’m passionate about coaching and recruiting, but also about my brand. I see Rizonn as an extension of me. What I stand for and what genuinely comes from my heart are integrated into Rizonn.

My coaching style is centered around the idea of personal development and helping individuals identify their unique talents and abilities. I believe that by focusing on individual strengths, we can create a more productive and fulfilling workplace.

My business approach is also focused on experimentation and taking risks. I believe that innovation and experimentation are key drivers of success in today’s fast-paced and ever-changing business environment. By taking risks and exploring new opportunities, we can create new and exciting possibilities for growth and success. That’s how I picture myself in this new journey as the head of Rizonn… taking risks and exploring new opportunities.

Finally, my decision to create a coaching and recruiting business is the result of a career path that has taken me through various HR roles, as well as a passion for daring and experimentation. By combining my HR and business development skills, I hope to help companies identify and develop top talent, while also helping individuals achieve their career aspirations. Furthermore, coaching enables me to accompany my clients on their development journey, helping them find the answers they seek and the solutions they need to overcome their challenges. Starting a new business is a challenging but rewarding path. I’m excited to see where it takes me.

The RIZONN why
Rizonn is more than just a name for my coaching and recruiting boutique. It’s a poetic representation of my core philosophy. The name Rizonn is a play on the phrase “expanding horizons,” reflecting my commitment to helping people broaden their perspectives and reach their full potential. Incorporating the word “rise” into the name, also speaks to the transformative power of personal growth and the idea that we are capable of rising to new heights. The “z” in the name adds a touch of edginess and modernity, reflecting my innovative and forward-thinking approach to coaching and recruitment. Rizonn embodies my vision for a boutique that is not just a provider of services but a catalyst for change, empowering individuals to see beyond their limitations and explore new horizons. Rizonn is a name that captures the spirit of growth, transformation, and possibility that underpins everything I do as a coach and recruiter.

The name Rizonn reflects the company’s values and beliefs, which are centered around embracing the unknown, expanding horizons, and enabling individuals to rise above their limitations. Besides, it’s derived from the word “horizon,” which represents the meeting point between what is known and unknown. The known may represent what we can see, our concepts; ideals. The unknown is linked to the unseen, to what is to be discovered. Embracing the unknown as it presents new opportunities and possibilities for growth and development.

The word “rising” is also a significant component of Rizonn’s name. It symbolizes going up and increasing, which is directly related to the outcomes Rizonn seeks to achieve.
